Two young bucks from Bellingham named Mattie and Robert gave me a ride up the hill. Young bucks are nearly always full of the beans. A phrase often used by Paul Engel that rings more true the longer in the teeth I become.
Once again the hill was soft and I made the most of it riding nearly all day. I want to thank Audrey's Aunt Jo for the new headlamp, the sun angle is much higher now so I will save the it for next December when it is totally dark! Love you Aunt Jo!!!!
Caught a ride down with David from instruction. One of those unusual rides where I was totally quiet!!
Headed to the Food Bank with Grady McCombs and then his dad, Kim McCombs treated us to dinner at the Rock and Rye. Kim and Doreen filled us in on their art projects and we discussed sculpture and what “true art” is to each of us. To me, true art is.... the projects people do to fulfill their souls, without a complete understanding of why and almost never for money.
Zac Lync gave me another ride up in the “white blues mobile”. The tunes totally saved me today as I focused on riding switch and doing 180's . Rode until the tunes went dead. I really need to find my headphones, they are somewhere at Nords? Today is day 55 of operation, I think the season is 50% over and I hope our snow pack can give us another 55 days!!!!
Caught a ride down with Nick, a non snowboarder from Minnesota. Not sure what he was there for, but I was happy for the ride. Thanks to Laura Meyer for the cheeseburger!! yum yum!!
