Word came down the street that Alex Pogany was cruising into Glacier. Eric Triplett and I decided to wait for him so we could shred together. Alex worked at the hill for many years in Food Service and then later as an E-lodge cook. Before that he was college buddies with Grady McCombs at the University of Washington.
The hill was sunny and beautiful, however I spent most of my time drinking Budweiser with Dave Reera in the parking lot. It was like 50 degrees and the vitamin D smoothed the wrinkles in my soul. Pizza tonight at Erok's and I am feeling nostalgic thinking of all the Danimal's Pizza nights from our pasts. Dave gave me a ride home in his VW bus.

Pizza night was great and even better was the bacon Jon Dorman cooked for me this morning. Jon like Alex and Eric also was an E-lodge cook for a few seasons so he knows his bacon. Now he lives in Bellingham with his wife Rheanna and his son Harper. Baby #2 is in the oven, so we all cherish these days together! We all packed into Jon's rig and headed up to ride in the rain. Took way more runs today than yesterday, but I was struggling to keep it fun! Got to stay positive and keep given'er!
Again received a ride home and a Budweiser from Dave Reera and we chatted about “the winter that wasn't”.
