Another ride with Bob “the gray” this morning. He chastised me for not having a light again. I knew he would. My light the day before had been a Christmas present from Audrey's Aunt Jo. Sorry, Aunt Jo- it broke! I received several compliments before it's life was sadly stamped out. Would love another one next year!
It was forecasted to snow, but the sky managed to not give us a drop! The hill was soft, fun and not crowded considering what most days after Christmas are like. Phil and Dan from upstairs rode Hemispheres! Their lines looked fun, but they said the snow had a crust that kept them from opening it up. My knee was sore today so I enjoyed helping kids at chair 2 instead of riding. The storm should hit tonight and be heavy throughout the day tomorrow!
I caught a ride down with two lift operators from Mt. Seymour in Vancouver. They are just opening tomorrow, about a month later than usual. The guys were super nice and hailed from Scotland and Wales. We swapped stories and talked about the ski life. Hope to see those guys again soon. The audio recording from the drive down is on my Google Drive.
