Day two of the season started out with a bang!! I caught a ride up with two dudes from Seattle. They came to check out the snow and had been out partying the night before. One of the guys was still in his ugly Christmas sweater and Polo shirt combo. Long story short I was getting the impression they were a couple. When we got out of the car I could finally see the sweater and everything clicked! I had to confess to these guys and we had an enjoyable laugh about it!
I had the day off and rode with Frankie Choltco-Devlin most of the day. He lives in Maple Falls and is an engineer in Bellingham. Some kids built a sweet little jump off of chair 2 and Frankie tried a back flip off it. I don't think he landed it but it looked cool, especially to the kids building the jump. The snow had a crust, but you could break it with enough speed and power.
Frankie gave me a ride home and I let him off being recorded. Some things have to stay off the record. Awesome day for the conditions!
